Any New Englander knows the malls in New Hampshire get travelers from all over New England. Why? There’s no sales tax! People come from all over to shop in New Hampshire, especially for tech gear and expensive items.

So if you’re ready to buy a new piece of tech gear or update your wardrobe, be sure to check out all of these New Hampshire malls! (You’ll be elbow-to-elbow with Massachusetts and Maine residents doing the same thing.)

While there are lots of different malls in New Hampshire, not every NH mall is equal. Here we’re putting together a list of the best shopping malls in the Granite State. You’ll also find a list of some of the electronic, clothing, and children’s stores at each location.

Mall of New Hampshire — Manchester, NH

Mall of New Hampshire is an indoor shopping center located in Manchester. There are currently 113 department stores and restaurants and it’s owned by Simon Property Group. 

The mall has several restaurants including Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Longhorn, Red Robin, and T.G.I. Friday’s. Other food options are Auntie Anne’s, Dunkin Donuts, and Orange Julius.

The Mall at Rockingham Park — Salem, NH

The Mall at Rockingham Park is the largest mall in New Hampshire and has 124 stores and restaurants. The indoor mall is located in Salem and because it’s close to Massachusetts’s border, many out-of-staters cross over to take advantage of the tax-free shopping.

Some restaurants and fast food places include Bertucci’s, Charleys Philly Steaks, Dunkin Donuts, Red Robin, and Sbarro. This mall is great if you’re shopping for children because there are many stores for little ones.

Pheasant Lane Mall — Nashua, NH

Literally on the New Hampshire and Massachusetts border, the Pheasant Lane Mall is in Nashua, NH. People from Massachusetts often visit this mall to enjoy tax-free shopping. 

There are a total of 125 stores and restaurants. Options for grabbing a quick bite or dining include Auntie Anne’s, Blaze Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, Burtons Grill, and Chik-fil-A.

Merrimack Premium Outlets — Merrimack, NH

Known for having several upscale and specialty stores, the Merrimack Premium Outlets in Merrimack, NH is one of the best places if you’re looking to be boujee on a budget. The outlet mall is outdoors with 105 stores and food joints. 

There is a small food court but not many food options compared to other shopping centers. Options include Auntie Anne’s, Buckhead Grill, Dairy Queen, and Villa, among a few other rotating places.

Settlers Green — North Conway, NH

Settlers Green is an outdoor outlet shopping mall in North Conway, NH. There are 64 outlet stores and restaurants.

Places to grab a bite include Black Cap Grille, Cheese Louise, and Starbucks, among a few others.

The Tanger Outlets is an outdoor shopping center with 48 stores and restaurants. It’s a great place if you’re looking to shop at a discount. 

Food options at the shopping center include Five Guys, Jersey Mike’s, and Starbucks.

Powerhouse Mall — Lebanon, NH

Powerhouse Mall in West Lebanon is a charming shopping center with unique brick buildings. There are more boutique-like stores and fewer large chains. If this is what you’re looking for, you’ve found the place. It’s also not too far from Dartmouth College.

There aren’t many shops, but it’s a great resource for the Dartmouth-Sunapee region.

These are some of the smaller shopping centers in New Hampshire, but we thought they deserved a listing here.

Bedford Mall — Bedford, NH

Bedford Mall in Bedford is a small shopping center with several shops and places to eat. Stores include Kohl’s, Marshalls, Homegoods, and Sierra Trading Post. There is also a Chipotle and Outback Steakhouse, among other storefronts. 

Belknap Mall — Belmont, NH

In Belmont, Belknap Mall is a small shopping center. Stores include JOANN, Big Lots, Shaw’s Supermarket, Verizon, and US Cellular, among a few others. 

Hudson Mall Shopping Center — Hudson, NH

Hudson Mall Shopping Center in Hudson has Bath & Body Works, GameStop, Marshalls, Old Navy, and other stores. Food places include Applebee’s, Pizza Hut, and Popeyes.

Lafayette Plaza Shopping Center — Portsmouth, NH

Lafayette Plaza Shopping Center is a small place to shop in Portsmouth. Located only 8 minutes from the Kittery Outlets, it’s not very appealing except for the tax-free shopping. Stores include Marshalls, Home Depot, and Shaw’s Supermarket.

Every type of mall you can imagine can be found in New Hampshire. No matter where you are, there is a shopping center nearby. Visit one or visit them all and enjoy guiltless tax-free shopping at its finest.
