Red Elephant Inn Bed & Breakfast
Red Elephant Inn is comfortably modern, while maintaining the New England farmhouse charm you hope for in North Conway. The Red Elephant Inn bed & breakfast is open for all four seasons, and is located on a quiet wooded lane just off the main route, a 15-20 minute walk from the heart of North Conway.
The inn’s setting feels private, peaceful, and convenient to all that North Conway has to offer without being right in the middle of things. Dozens of trailheads are nearby, and nature lovers will feel right at home in the White Mountains.

The Buttonwood Inn on Mount Surprise
If you’re looking for a true New Hampshire mountain getaway outside of downtown North Conway look no further than The Buttonwood Inn on Mount Surprise. This renovated 1820’s farmhouse features a traditional country charm with personal decorative touches and modern amenities. Located just a 5-minute drive from downtown North Conway, the Buttonwood Inn sits on 5.5 acres of secluded forested land at the base of Mount Surprise and Bartlett Mountain. Nature lovers will relish in the wildlife, fresh mountain air, and hiking trails. Spruce Moose Lodge
The Spruce Moose Lodge is a cozy old fashioned bed and breakfast featuring rooms and dog-friendly bungalows and cottages. Their 1890’s farmhouse is quaint and charming, and the decor calls back to days of yore. One of the highlights of the space is its great room. It’s the perfect place to relax after a fun-filled day spent on the slopes, hiking trails, or exploring North Conway! The Spruce Moose Lodge has 8 recently renovated rooms located in two wings separated by the Great Room. They embrace their historic space, and kindly remind us that the bedrooms of homes in 1890 were smaller than we’re perhaps accustomed to today. Decorated in a vintage farmhouse style, you’ll feel comfortable and right at home in your beautiful air conditioned room with a private bath and queen or full-size bed and free wifi.
The Spruce Moose Lodge is an excellent launching pad for your New Hampshire vacation! Wake up rested and refreshed, head down to the lodge dining room for your complimentary hearty farmhouse breakfast, and then set out on an adventure before returning to the cozy Great Room for some R&R at your B&B.

Accommodation Beyond North Conway B&Bs
The Swiss Chalets Village Inn, a family-friendly place, is located in Intervale, just minutes away from North Conway and offers reasonable rates, a heated outdoor pool, rooms with a jacuzzi tub, and are just minutes from Story Land.
Red Jacket Mountain View Hotel is another top family-friendly choice — not least because if gives you access to Kahuna Laguna, a year-round indoor water park. (2023 Update: Red Jacket Mountain View Hotel is currently closed due to a fire and a reopening date has not yet been announced.)
