Flapjacks is one of the best breakfast places if you want traditional big breakfasts! Come to this Lincoln location when you want a good old-fashioned American diner styled breakfast, and you’re really hungry! You can get all your favorites here including French toast, but their specialty is delicious buttermilk pancakes.
Diners love seeing the unique décor of Flapjacks with everything from nautical pieces, a raised train on a track and a wood carved bear that greets you. Flapjacks brings the kitsch to the White Mountains, but in a delightful and comfortable way. This is a great spot for breakfast in Lincoln NH for families. Just don’t tell your kids that they have Reese’s peanut butter cup flapjacks on the menu!
What to get at Flapjacks: The first item that jumps off the menu, and usually what people eat and love, are Jack’s Stacks. These are 3 large buttermilk flapjacks that come with maple cream butter and topped with local maple syrup. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on that fabulous New Hampshire syrup. Vermont isn’t the only New England state that knows how to rock it.

Woodstock Inn Brewery

This inn and brewery in North Woodstock, just on the line of Lincoln, not only offers beautiful Victorian-styled rooms for guests to stay in, but everyone whispers in their social circles that it has one of the best breakfasts in the area, in addition to being one of the best breweries in New Hampshire. Which is perfect if you have had a long day or night of sampling the brewery’s finest wares and need a pick-me-up in the morning!
The inn is modeled on a fun wood lodge aesthetic and used to be a train depot. The outdoor areas are lush and very family friendly. It’s right on the Pemigewasset River too, making it a perfect place to recuperate after a day on the trails.
Make a reservation for breakfast though, as it is quite popular, especially on weekends. You’ll get a great meal here! Locals call it one of their favorite places too – maybe even the best restaurant for breakfast in Lincoln!
What to get at the Woodstock Inn Brewery: Ever heard of a Womelette? It’s a specialty here. A Womelette, a, puffy omelet baked onto a waffle, is a Woodstock Inn concoction that combines salty and sweet in the best way. Vegetarians and vegans will love the Avocado Toast that comes with tomato, pesto and is on homemade spent grain bread.
And if you want to go all out, the Woodstock Inn makes a short rib Benedict, Reese’s Pieces pancakes, breakfast tacos, and perhaps the most extensive eggs Benedict menu we’ve ever seen anywhere! Try a chorizo Benedict if you’re feeling spicy.

Start your day off right in Northern New Hampshire by going to the moon… as in the folks at The Moon Café and Bakery. This women-owned spot, located in a shopping center in central Lincoln, is full of amazing food, fresh fruits, and has a particular focus on locally roasted coffee and food supplied from local farms.
The outdoor area is a particular highlight at The Moon, with many weary hikers in the summer months and skiers in the winter drinking, eating and enjoying the picnic-tabled area. The Moon does great breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as entrees, but what appears to be exceptionally popular is the bakery section. There are always daily specials on fresh made pastries and breads. Many folks come and enjoy a pastry (or two) over a flight of local coffee, which is a great way to get a sample of our unique flavors!
What to get at the Moon Café: Aside from getting all your daily homemade bread needs covered in the bakery, the ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is one of the most popular items on the menu board. The sandwich menu is small, but what they make at The Moon – they make tasty! As mentioned, the coffee flight is a unique offering but perfect for getting a crash course in the good flavor of great locally roasted coffees.

Located in a great steel shack, resembling a big streamliner trailer, Arnold’s Wayside Diner is like a fun step back in time with its 50’s style retro fittings. Arnold’s is very much a ‘booth or bar’ type of place, but the food you need for “the most important meal of the day”, is to die for.
Apart from the large menu, one refreshing part about visiting Arnold’s is the great price, which makes it a favorite stop for locals too. So grab a seat and a mug of coffee and get ready to eat at this perfect common man restaurant near Loon Mountain!
What to get at Arnold’s Wayside Diner: Among the standard American fare menu classics like beef hash, breakfast burritos and “Arnold’s Omelette Obsessions” you’ll also find “Arnold’s Tire Stacks”. These are the diner’s pancakes (or French Toast) variations and come with a healthy drizzle of locally made real maple syrup. The blueberry option is must eat!
White Mountain Bagel Co.

Before hitting the slopes or the hiking trails in the White Mountains, why not get some fuel for the day in this cozy country café? Or even after a long tiring day! What you’ll find at White Mountain Bagel Co is a different sort of breakfast than at traditional diners.
Open all year round, the outdoor deck area is a great place to decompress and enjoy the mountain air over a bagel or sandwich with a steaming cup of locally brewed coffee. The interior dining room has a few tables and chairs, but the deck is where the fun is.
What to get at White Mountain Bagel Co: The chalkboard menu for sandwiches is always being updated to take advantage of the freshest ingredients but what is a constant are the bagels, and this is what gets people coming back. Customize your bagel however you want. There are some unique additions you can add to your bagel like jalapenos, honey walnuts, and even bacon horseradish (one of the local ingredients everyone loves!).
